For this reason it is virtually impossible to place Ween within a particular musical category. Despite the juxtaposition of contrasting genres, all sixteen of these sometimes bizarre and often hilarious tracks on this album somehow manage to blend well together. An outstanding feature of the album is a virtuosity of vocalization that is simply astonishing. Further songs including The HIV Song and Spinal meningitis Got me Down help to portray Ween as a joke band to those who nonchalantly listen, yet to those who get into this album they quickly realise the talent that these two americans hold when it comes to song writing, guitar playing and cross-genre style.
