Purgation - Trigger the Bloodshed

Having toured with this band, I can safely say that they are NOT weak in concert. Personally not a major fan of this Deathmetal Grindcore genre, I was interested to listen to their set, which included many of the tracks from this album. Admittedly the tremolo guitars did get a bit repetitive, but every artist needs their own sound right? The technicality with which they play is unbelievable. If you want an album that will impress you to the bones with high speed blasting, tremolo guitars and evil growls, this is the album for you. Over the last two years Trigger the Bloodshed have become the most well known new English death metal outfit to have made a release, the new kids on the block so to speak - so I was a bit surprised to find a review of the band's album on a metalhead forum, being described as "wannabes" and had to check it out for myself.
