Push the button is a thumbs up for DIY production, he plays instruments and sings on all 18 tracks with minimal appearances from sidekicks, who include super session drummer Jim Keltner no less. The sound can be a little rough and ready, but this just adds to a warm and intimate feel and par for the course in the lo-fi world, the vocals are clear and crisp and the sound is definitely by design rather than accident. A 12 track journey of hip-trip-hop, industrial, pop ambience, string work and eery vocals. An electronic wonder There's something about this record which seems slightly too much, yet funnily enough too little at the same time. I can't quite put my finger on it though

Three strong tracks kick off the album The latter nine tracks fail to impress

May be good value for money at 70 tracks across 2 CDs Melody clashes, bad mixing

Very tight collection None

Has some excellent tracks Most of this is album-filling dross
