BIFFY CLYRO are a Scottish progressive rock band whose album PUZZLE is a treat.
The album consists of tthirteen tracks ranging from ballads to hard rock.

LIVING IS A PROBLEM BECAUSE EVERYONE DIES, i found to be a disturbing track because of the lyrics. However listening to the lyrics again I found that they really had a meaning and this follows right the way through the album.

FOLDING STARS is an amazing ballad full of emotion in the lyrics. Full of passion and heartfelt warmth in the vocals it really puts a tear in your eye.

The same goes for A WHOLE CHILD AGO. This song proves that this Scottish band can write and really tug at the heartstrings of their fans.

However, Biffy Clyro can rock the house down as well. GET FUCKED STUD, SATURDAY SUPERHOUSE, SEMI-MENTAL and MACHINES are real head bangers that have you dancing. The instruments kick into life and the vocals are fast paced.

9-15THS and THE CONVERSATION IS.. are album filler though grow on you the more you hear them.

LOVE HAS A DIAMETER and AS DUST DANCES show the band at their best with great vocals being supported by the fantastic guitar.

WHO'S GOT A MATCH and NOW I'M EVERYONE are slower songs that concentrate on raw emotion that you can feel in the music creating a powerful sound.


There is a lot of swearing in this album so be warned. A lot of tracks are quite fast paced, but the ballads are beautiful. The music is really emotional and has real feeling to it. Biffy Clyro are a band you should try because you'll either love them, or hate them. At 5.78 from AMAZON the music will move you.
