I say seventeen , even though his album contains eighteen tracks - but why , well in truth this compilation was just another money spinner used by EMI , and they got away with track eighteen as it was the then single release from the yet unreleased ?Made In Heaven? , namely ?No-One But You? (Only the good die young ) , a track recorded by the three remaining members of Queen in tribute to the great Freddie , and a feature used heavily in the marketing of the record. Of all the music in all the world you?ve just got to love rock/rock ?n roll. I mean its got everything you need and its everywhere, it makes you feel good, its got power, and it can really help you to work out your anger. I love a lot of music, but there?s one band in particular I love almost as much as the Beatles and what?s more most people I know also like their music, the music of Queen. Queen are a legendary rock band and this compilation represents their best rock songs throughout their 30 year long existance. It has all their biggest rock hits from the early albums like Stone Cold Crazy right up to Headlong which was featured on 1991's Innuendo album. I suppose it could be argued that this may be an attempt to make quick money out of the Queen name because there is only one new track on the cd but it could also be argued that this lets rock fans hear all Queen's best rock hits without the need to buy all their albums. There was a time when I thought Queen Greatest Hits I was the best album ever, and it is good, but I think this is my favourite Queen compilation. It is a collection of Queens rockiest tracks, kicking off with the wonderful ‘We Will Rock You’ and the quick paced rocker ‘Tie Your Mother Down.’ I started my Queen collection with the Hits collections, and compared with those, this album contains extended versions of many of the tracks, namely ‘One Vision.’ The introduction is vastly greater than that of the Greatest Hits II version.
