 ... The album starts off in stunning form with perhaps their most well known song "Don't Dog Me", a super blend of dampened sludge metal a la early Sabbath and southern rock. Raging Slab are a southern rock/hard rock band from Pennsylvania, they almost achieved success in the late 80's but didn't quite make it, they deserved more fame than they got though in my book, the band have gone through several line-up changes over the years but this album best defines the band and the line-up that I like. Once described as across between Lynyrd Skynrd and Metallica, I always get a sense of ZZ Top about the band too.
