"You Got Me" After sticking all the singles together, you have T-Pain move on by goign for a collaboration with the big newcomer of R&B at the time, Akon, but I never liked him, so this was going to do little to excite me at all. **One Star** 6. Premium Review Rappa Ternt Sanga: Parental Advisory - T-Pain: The Rapper-Turned-Singer T-Pain (1191 words)
by - written on 04/03/09 (Very useful, 78 readings)
Rating:

"Rappa Ternt Sanga" came as the debut album from T-Pain. it came out in 2005, soon after he signed to Akon's Konvict Muzik record label. This original album has the "rapper-tunred-singer", T-Pain show what he can do both as a prodcuer, and a singer with most of the vocals hadelled by auto-tuning for a robotic effect. He takes great influence from other well-known singers who used such voice manipulation, Roger Troutman, and Teddy Riley (for which the 'T' in his name is sometimes said to stand for), but he doesn't opt for the same Voice Box technology. 1. Premium Review This isn't music (313 words)

When you can't think of any good rap lyrics anymore, you start singing, even if you're not a singer. That's what T-Pain did, because teenage girls will eat up anything he craps out (not literally, of course). Famous for one of the dumbest songs on the entire earth, "I'm In Luv Wit A Stripper," all of his songs are brainless and insipid. Each song he has uses an autotuner, which is a device that changes the tone and pitch of a singer (You may have heard it recently in Britney Spears' "Piece of Me"). I don't think you could call what T-Pain does music. It's more like noise. All of his lyrics are sexually charged and about either having sex, ...  Read the complete review

Glory To The Brave - HammerFall
Solid power metal. Brings nothing new to the genre.

The Grave Digger - Grave Digger
Return to darker days, with heavier production. Groove riffs are overly repetitive.

Beyond My Grey Wake - How Like a Winter
Satisfying and accomplished gothic doom metal. Takes all its ideas from elsewhere.

Considered Dead - Gorguts
Sophisticated death metal based in the traditional Florida style. Tends towards similarity.

The Last Supper - Grave Digger
Effective nod to the old school. Disappointingly retro.

Tunes Of War - Grave Digger
Great concept that doesn't impede superficial enjoyment. All reminiscent of older material.

Erosion Of Sanity - Gorguts
Creative and extremely compelling death metal. Diversity means that listeners may not enjoy everything.

Domus Mundi - Hollenthon
Ambitious mix of styles that work excellently together. Occasionally fails to cohere.

Renegade - HammerFall
A good slow song, and some catchy choruses. Mostly a less exciting version of its predecessors.

Rheingold - Grave Digger
Great use of orchestration to supplement, great heavy metal songs. Some riffs are very generic.
