After the huge success of their first record, Bush could have put out another record just like it and people would have been more than happy to snap it up. While this one bears a lot of similarity to Sixteen Stone, I think they ventured out from the safety of that formula to some different styles and rhythms on Razorblade Suitcase. They give you 13 songs and over 61 minutes of music, most of it worthwhile. The lyrics are listed out of order for some reason, maybe they changed the order of the songs at the last minute. "Warm sun... Leery... hold me up... I'm followed... borrowed... Swallowed..." While this album is a bit outdated to be reviewed, I did not want this album to go down as "just another one of those alternative albums". This album is purely magical- never before have I heard lyrics that could tear an entire vortex of emotions apart. Probably the best Bush album currently available. Quite different to "The Science of Things", this album is slightly more upbeat. The track that everybody will recognise no doubt is "Swallowed" his or her first big hit. This is a quality track but is matched by others on the album; less well know, including "Personal Holloway", "Communicator" and "Mouth". This should be the starting point of anyone who likes some Bush songs but has not yet bough an album. As one of those albums that you can listen to all the way through without skipping any one track it is great value for money. ...

An excellent display of rock, a massive variety of musical genres covered all within one album.
Sometimes the band is a little too experimental and creatively farfetched for its own good.

Enjoyable early power metal, with great vocals.
Progressive touches sound forced and not too impressive.

The vocal range on display here is excellent, the guitar hooks sublime.
If you don't like the vocal sound of Fall Out Boy then you probably won't like this.

Machine 15 - Millencolin
A number of excellent tracks feature on this release.
Not as hard hitting an album as Millencolin releases of the past.
