I bought this album just before Christmas on the basis of 'Murder on the Dance Floor' and have been listening to it ever since.

Being honest, when I first heard 'Murder on the Dance Floor' I was not that impressed, but the song just stayed in my head and I could not get rid of it and so took the chance and purchased the whole album.

The album begins with the top ten hit 'Take me home' which I tend to skip past now as I have heard it so many times, but the next 3 tracks - 'Lover', 'Move this Mountain' and 'Murder on the Dance Floor' are really superb. 'Sparkle' is quite good, but seems a little weak following the 3 before it. The album then raises several notches with the darker 'Final Move' and 'I believe'. The album then dips momentarily with 'Leave the others Alone' before rising again with 'By Chance', 'Universe is You' and 'Is it any wonder'. The whole album seems to have a strong 80s influence to it which I found quite refreshing!

If you are expecting songs like 'Groovejet' then you will be disappointed, but if you enjoyed 'Take me Home' and 'Murder on the Dance Floor' then I whole-heartedly recommend you purchase this as the whole album is good. Normally, there will be tracks that you don't like, but with 'Read my lips' you will be quite happy to listen to the entire album! I am actually quite surprised that it is not a lot higher in the charts.
