I have been meaning to download this album for quite some time now after hearing only the best about it from friends and other reviews so a few days ago I finally got round to doing it. And I am very glad I did because it will soon become an album I listen to all the time, the tracks are very upbeat and dancy so perfect if your getting ready for a night out and want something that will get you up and moving! READY FOR THE WEEKEND is the title of Scottish artist CALVIN HARRIS' album. The album features 14 tracks. The opening song THE RAIN is a fast paced track with a great beat that kicks in with some vocals and a funky rhythm that needs to be turned up loud. Band still continues to evolve.
Cluttered and chaotic, loses the folk elements.
Unorthodox - Edge Of Sanity
Experimental death metal, foreshadowing major sub-genres.
Overlong.
Purgatory Afterglow - Edge Of Sanity
Approachable death metal.
Too many weak songs and failed attempts to combine genres.
Crimson Ii - Edge Of Sanity
If you liked the first one, you'll probably enjoy this too.
Re-treads old ground, and doesn't have its predecessor's charm or talent.
Infernal - Edge Of Sanity
A couple of enjoyable death metal songs, retaining some progressive elements.
Weak attempts to return to the old-school, and lazy performance.
A Pleasant Shade Of Grey - Fates Warning
Admirable ambition.
Boring, with very few interesting ideas.
Perfect Sym - Fates Warning
Pioneering progressive metal with a distinctive approach.
Too many slow songs try my patience.
Awaken The Guardian (cd+dvd) - Fates Warning
Pioneering progressive metal.
Rather samey.
Quimbombó
One or two good tracks
Voice is not strong
Ilgi - Kaza Kepa Debesis
Quite good vocals
Too slow
