... love that chorus it's a real belter. I think Don't Give It Up Girl is really gentle and has a great meaning. Sinead's accent really blends well with the music and the chorus gave me goosebumps. Never Happy is a fun filled song, it just cheers me up that chorus i just want to hum it over and over infact i could do it right now! A great meaning and i think the verses on this is really well. Ready To Run, oh my! what a song - it gave me goosebumps and made me teary eyed, what a great meaning and i love the lyrics on ...more

Premium Review Ready To Run - Sinead Quinn: Love it! Love It! Love It! (570 words)

I think Sinead Quinn is possibly one of the most under-rated artists every to be created from reality tv shows. I think if she came on right now on the X Factor she would have been as huge as Leona Lewis. The songs are the right mix of pop music and rock and she really makes a good attempt at a solo record here and for some reason she just got lost in all the big artists out there and never got a second chance, a shame because i would have loved to hear a second record from Sinead Quinn. She was the runner up of the first series of Fame Academy, and she beat Lemar who came 3rd. Just shows winning isn't everything is it? This is a cracking debut, i ...  Read the complete review

So I'm pretty sure that a lot of people reading this know of the reality TV show concept and its most famous names being possibly Girls Aloud, Will Young, Leona Lewis etc etc. Well back in the early days of this reletnless and annoying phase the UK public can't seem to shake there was a show on ITV 1 called Pop Idol. Not wanting to miss out on a slice of the pie so to speak the BBC launched their own show in the same vein - Fame Accademy. As this review is not about the show itself I will spare you the fascinating details of how it panned out and get to the point. Sinead Quinn an Irish contestant finished second on the show behind David Sneddon going on ...  Read the complete review

Their Law: The Singles 1990-2005 - The Prodigy
Some truly classic hard-core dance anthems and some truly controversial lyrics Towards the end of the album, begins to lose focus

Quintessence - Borknagar
Superb technical musicianship, and evolving the band's distinctive sound. Many of the songs blur together.

Poison Sweet Madeira - Sophie Solomon
Lots of styles, really contemporary on some, more traditional on others If you enjoy only house music then I wouldn't really say you'll like this

Meds - Placebo
Their most complete recording yet, a good progression of Without You I'm Nothing A couple of the singles stink bad, including Meds which was a poor opening song

Magic - The Album
Compilation - 2005

Lizard - King Crimson
Early, experimental prog rock for people afraid of real jazz. Several weak songs, with too much focus on variation.

Inventive and highly experimental, diverse collection of songs At three tracks, the album seems short
