Hang-ups - Goldfinger ... ups was the second album from the punk band goldfinger. Their first album the self titled goldfinger album had done very well and so there was some pressure on them to release some more great tracks. Their tracks had a little element off ska about them in their first album and this continues on this album, again a bit more prominent on some songs than others. The first song off the album is superman, wow what a start to an album. The best song off the album by miles and my favourite goldfinger song of all time. The song is very ska all the way through but it really works. The lyrics are amazing to this one but more than anything its all the different instruments and... Goldfinger - Goldfinger ... was the self titled debut album from the punk band goldfinger in 1996. It had many fast paced punk songs and their energy in the songs, and their live performances got them many fans from this first album. The first song kicks the album off to a fantastic start, minds eye is a great song, the lyrics could be stronger but the instruments really carry this one and the energy put into the singing is also clear to hear and makes this song what it is as well. Here in your bed room is probably my favourite song off the album, it sound a little different to some of their other stuff especially at the start, its goldfinger when they were mixing punk with a bit of ska... Danger Is Dangerous - 7 Seconds of Love ... familiar with rathergood.com will be instantly familiar with some of the tracks on this CD despite it being 7 Seconds of Loves debut. The lead singer has animated many videos for the site and some of his work has even been at a national level (the singing "Crusha" cat adverts anyone?). Most of the tracks on this album are available to view the flash videos for on rathergood.com with one or two being properly filmed more like "traditional" music videos. But thats enough about the site and the videos, what about the reason you d want to buy this CD, the music? Simply put its great. Most being fast and silly, its uniformly upbeat and really helps ...
