40 Oz. To Freedom - Sublime: ... album is arguably the best offering from rap/reggae/punk fusion band , Sublime. The untimely demise of the lead singer in a very rock n roll manner means that with no new releases, its a good job that this album is so good. Almost thirty tracks confirms its status as one of those value for money albums and there are so many stand out tracks on this record that it would futile to list them. The album has a v...

Coby Arular - MIA
... is Mathangi "Maya" Arulpragasam, she is a British record producer and artist in various genres. Her sound is funky Jungle-esque, with obvious influences shining through from her Sri-Lankan background. Sunshowers is a really great song, she completely draws the listner in, it s almost spiritual. She uses alot of nature sounds mixed in with her own amazingly funky vocals and beats to create something totally unique. She excells in her chosen and perhaps self created genre, every song has a feel good factor and it s a great album to have at a party or to chill out to. It has just the right mix of songs to pick you up and get you moving, "Pull Up The Peop...

dangaroo Klasse Kriminale - Strength & Unity
... & Unity is the new album by Klasse Kriminale and was released on the band s own record label Havin A Laugh Records. If you don t know the band, they re an Italian punk band from Savona, highly-influenced by bands like Sham 69 and The Cockney Rejects, they set up around 1985 and have managed to make a hell of a career, proving that punk is far from dead! Taking part in numerous anti-racism concerts and fascists as well as writing songs...

KKSlider1337 Cheer Up - Reel Big Fish
... Big Fish are one of the only Ska Punk bands that appeal to me, and I love them. "Cheer Up!" released in 2002 is probably the closest out of their discography to rock rather than pure Ska. The album gets off to a good start with the hugely catchy "Good Thing," following their usual style of incessant happiness. One thing is for certain, that after listening to this album you ll probably be in a good mood, which is never a bad thing. Even when Reel Big Fish are singing about depressing material such as breakups, life sucking and all that jazz, they refuse to stoop to anything lower than pure jubilation. Next up on the tracklist are "Somebody...
