Advantages: Better than previous two albums, Pretty brutal!

Disadvantages: Still not very original!, Wasn't long until I got bored of it

Again, Pantera suffer from the same problems as their previous two albums. Lack of originality. If you’ve heard one, you’ve heard it all. However, this is not entirely true. Reinventing is a much stronger offering, and while recorded in the traditional Pantera style, manages to add a few nice modern touches to the sound.

The ten tracks leave no time for a breather, each one as intense as the last. Goddam Electric, Death Rattle and We’ll Grind That Axe For A Long Time are definitely the highlights here.

This album isn’t bad at all. If you like Pantera you’ll love it! And it’s definitely an improvement on the previous two albums. Dimebag, Rex and Vinnie are all on top form and Phil's vocals are just as raw as ever!

I enjoyed this album a lot when I first bought it, but it seems to have worn off now. I guess some people may really love it, but there just wasn't enough in it for me to be interested all the time! It does leave me wondering just how much Pantera have left in them. Could this be the beginning of the end?
