Want One - Rufus Wainwright

Premium Review Grand - in every sense of the word (345 words)
by Midrange - written on 10/09/08 (Very useful, 26 readings)
Rating:

"Want One" is the first half of American singer-songwriter R Rufus Wainwright s "Want" album. From start to finish, this album dazzles and delights. He performed a song named Vibrate, from his album Want One. The simplicity of the song, when coupled with his unique voice, left me spellbound. I had never heard music like ...

Tower of Learning Grey Gardens Rebel Prince The Consort One Man Guy Evil Angel In a Graveyard Cigarettes & Chocolate Milk (Reprise) Poses is the second studio album by R Rufus Wainwright This time around Wainwright has created a far more varied and diverse offering than his operatic debut; perhaps then, it is not surprising to find that many different people helped produce and mould the shape of this record, while Wainwright took an extended stay in the Chelsea Hotel, Manhattan, New York. Cigarettes & Chocolate Milk is Wainwright s ode to self-indulgence and the subtle addictions which rule our day to day lives. "Cigarettes and chocolate milk, these are ...
