Pain of Salvation are a Swedish progressive metal band who were formed in 1991 by the brilliant Daniel Gildenlow who not only plays guitar on the LP but also provides the main vocals and composes all the music. Being progressive you can expect lots of key changes and strange time signatures but with a harder sound incorperating many other aspects of more modern metal. 'Remedy Lane' is the bands fourth album release which was written during a two month period in 2001 by Gildenlow and released to tremendous praise from the metal community when it finally reached the public in 2002.
