Advantages: Not a bad track

Disadvantages: Sometimes the intercut dialogue tracks annoy me

Even if you are not a fan of Quentin Tarantino's work you really can't say anything negative about his taste in music. He has an uncanny ability to choose exactly the right song for the right scene and it seems to work best of all in this - The Resevoir Dogs sountrack. You could market this album without even mentioning the film because the music in it is just so damned good. Maybe I am over romanticising things here but I can't think of a single bad track. From "Little Green Bag" right through to "Stuck in the Middle With You" and on to Harry Nillson's "Coconut" there have been some classics brought to light that I don't think much of my generation would ever have heard were it not for this soundtrack. Can you imagine a world where you were out for a night out and you didn't hear "Stuck in the middle with you?" You may groan because you've heard it so many times now... but just imagine if you never had...
