'Resurgence of Oblivion' is second, shorter release from brutal death metal band Beheaded, featuring five tracks of unadulterated, vile death metal performed with extreme dedication. The sound is much the same as all other brutal death bands, with Lawrence Joyce's guttural burps over a putrid stream of fast and crunchy guitar riffs from Omar Grech and David Bugeja, all hammered into place by the relentless, often painful pounding of Chris Brincat, whose impressive performance never lets up across the twenty minutes.
