I have to say that there are only two which I can honestly imagine Elvis actually singing himself, and those are THE HOUSE IS ROCKIN' (the 4th track on the CD), and KING OF THE ROAD (the 10th). The rest just don't seem right to me. To be honest I can't see Elvis ever thinking of singing a song like SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL (the 1st track) - despite his excessi...more

I have to say that as a serious Elvis fan I have something of an aversion to Elvis impersonators. None have the quality of Elvis' voice. I would never buy a CD by an impersonator but at Christmas this year a family member thought I might like this CD as a present. I have listened to it this morning with some trepidation but have found that it is not all bad. On paper it sounds as if it has the possibility of being the ultimate karaoke-type nightmare but surprisingly it isn't. The King is not an out and out impersonation. Brown's voice is neither forced nor over-the-top with the obvious Elvis trademark vocal styles. Initially, I heard about The King after a friend was reluctantly dragged to one of his gigs and came back full of praise. I heard one of his songs from his debut album 'Gravelands' - a cover ...

Reasonable melodic death metal. Amon Amarth are losing their touch.

Hard and fast dance for the C21 makes the rest look bad

a brilliant album its different and so not to everyone's taste

Reasonably epic. Dull and lacking in energy.

More aggressive and exciting than its predecessor, with a fine performance all round. Some of the same old problems remain.

Hours of listening pleasure You might need more room on your mp3 player
