If you can't handle listening to Michael anymore, some relief can still be found in his younger sister. Her unique brand of funky r and b pop made her a must-listen-to artist in the eighties. The 'Nasty' era aside, she was moving up a gear with this, her 'Rhythm Nation' album. This is a review on the Janet album "Rhythm Nation". I purchased this after I saw if on offer at an incredible £4:99! (brand new!) "Rhythm Nation 1814" is easily Janet's best album, containing a rich blend of pop, r and b and rock. The first (proper) track is a very catchy and dancy. There are all sorts of noises being literally blown around Janet's strong but not awesome vocals. After a very interesting interlude, the next track "State Of The World" rises.
