Sometimes electro disappoints, sometimes it sucks to anyone other than a huge electro fan and other times it's pleasantly amazing.. like Relaxed Muscle, I think Soho Dols fit into the latter category. Their album Ribbed Music for the Numb Generation certainly puts some life in to your ears in comparison to largely dull indie bands. A melange of styles with glam and punk coming through in particular, the naive yet naughty sounding vocals of Maya Van Doll innocently sing out fun or raunchy lyrics and are perfectly backed with tasty bass lines and sumptious guitar riffs. 'Ribbed Music For The Numb Generation' is the début album from the British electro sensation that is Soho Dolls. The music has a dirty electro pop feel, the female vocals come across well over a backdrop of distorted guitars and fuzzy keyboards. It's an interesting album of succulent electronic pop music. When you first listen to this album the music will all seem extremely familiar, the band is instantly recognisable and as you listen to this album the music of Soho Dolls should surely impress you greatly.
