The Cup of Life was the official song of the France 98 tournament and was a great song as was Maria. However, what really catapulted Ricky Martin to fame was the brilliant Livin La Vida Loca. It went straight to number one and won many awards. It put Latin music on the map as well as Ricky himself. It was the dance song that had everyone on their feet. He followed this up with Shake Your Bon-Bon which didn't do quite so well despite being a great song. Private Emotion is his latest release from this album and is an extremely powerful ballad which is set to go straight to number one. It proves that the talented Ricky Martin can do many different types of music. The album ends with Spanish versions of a couple of his songs, a brilliant way to round of an even better album.
