About Kurt Nilsen I first discovered Kurt Nilsen while watching an old World Idol clips on youtube, and his performance blew me away. "I" is Kurt Nilsen's first album following his winning the first Norwegian Idol in 2003 and World Idol (beating Will Young and Kelly Clarkson). Normally I find Pop Idol type winners to be over commercial, releasing a boring, label controlled first album of covers.After his transition from ordinary guy - plumber and father of two, he has become one of Norway's top artists, but although enjoying live performances, he still tries to avoid the limelight if he can.
