First Impressions Of Earth - The Strokes ... IMPRESSIONS OF EARTH is the title of indie rock group THE STROKES album. The album features 14 tracks. The opening song YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE has grea tintensity from the start which brings in corking vocals that add qualiy to the melodies which are quick paced. JUICEBOX has a belting intro that brings in vocals that do it justice with lyrics whiich tell a good story towards a wonderful finale. HEART IN A CAGE has some genuinly emotional lyrics that can be heard in the vocals which are extremely passionate particularly at the chorus with smooth melodies. Gorillaz - Gorillaz ... is the title of indie rock group GORILLAZ album. The album features 16 tracks. The opening song RE-HASH is a fast paced song with good lyrics that flow alongside the melodies with a catchy chorus that drives towards the finale. 5/4 gets better the more times you hear it with a slow start which is brought to life by the instrumental work with the guitar on fine form at the chorus. TOMORROW COMES TODAY has some mellow vocals which contain wonderful harmonies that drift at the chorus though come back at full force at the finale. Sultans Of Swing: The Very Best Of Dire Straits - Dire Straits ... think it is fair to say that Dire Straits are one of those love or hate groups. There is no contesting Knopfler s skills on a guitar, but a lot of people do find their music dirgey. This best of album gathers sixteen of their biggest hits. The big opener is Sultans Of Swing which has one of the most memorable guitar hooks of all time. I like to play it to mellow my mood. The song has an instant calming effect on you and Knopfler s vocals are icy cool and chilled. Romeo and Juliet sounds very romantic from the title and I suppose it is in an odd way.
