... Hits Vol.3 by Queen is the weakest of the three Greatest Hits albums from Queen but still worth owning if you re a real fan. I suppose the biggest problem they faced in compiling this was dealing with the absence of Freddie Mercury (the lead singer who died of Aids in 1991). Alright, Still - Lily Allen ... really great album by a really unique singer. every track has a ska-pop feel to it and while some take a few listens to get used to, most of them are instantly addictive. the best song on the album is friday night because it keeps things simple and has a really catchy beat that you cant help but have a little bop to. the one thing i really like about the album, that i dont really look for in songs, is the lyrics. they talk about things that your average pop song does not. there seems to be a lot of heart felt honesty in some of the stories told through the songs. ldn is a great song for this time of year - really cool to listen to in the car with the windows down on a s... Greatest Hits Vol.2 - Queen ... Hits Vol.2 by Queen was compiled and released in 1991 to showcase all of the band s greatest hits from 1981 to 1991 in one place. A great buy for fans and newbies alike I think. What s especially great about the greatest hits albums is that they re a brilliant way to introduce new fans to older music. Of the three greatest hits albums, this is the rockier number. The 80s were a big time for stadium rock on the rock and roll front and the band embraced that full whack with many of the songs included on this compilation album. Live Killers - Queen ... was from the tour the band made having released their "Jazz" album. A lot of the very best early songs are on this album. "Killer Queen" is a favourite with many of the band s fans, including me, having been taken off their 1974 Sheer Heart Attack album. On the rockier side of things there are tracks like We Will Rock You, Now I m Here, Keep Yourself Alive, Tie Your Mother Down (we thought we were rebels lol) and We Are The Champions.
