Advantages: Great songs of timeless feel

Disadvantages: Maybe 3 more tracks on the second disc!

Duffy has an amazing unique timeless voice which translates perfectly in this album, which is her Debut Album. And the Deluxe Edition has so much more to offer, compared to the normal version, boasting 2 discs of awesome tracks, 17 in total!

Firstly, the album cover reflects perfectly what the album is about. The use of monochrome black and white makes it seem aged, in time, yet it is modern, just like her songs. It is a great cover, and the tracks within reflect that.

Most of Duffy's songs are pop songs, with a hint of 50s feel. My favourite tracks are: "Serious", "Warwick Avenue", "Breaking my own heart" and "Rain on your parade". All the songs have that same feel timeless quality to it, a "Duffy" quality, which can be listened to nowadays and be a modern song. They can also be listened to in whatever mood: lifting you up when you are down, as well as excites you...

The album can be downloaded for less than £5, but to get it boxed, it will cost around £10, from amazon, play, hmv and so on. As the songs can be listened over and over, it is definitely worth buying.
