Newest Review: ... great. Good solid rock songs that prompted me to go out and get this cd. But, oh the disappointment when I slapped it on ... more

... the death decks at home. The same songs seemed to have lost a bit of oomph; there was no bite to them. Too much production I suppose. Too smooth for it’s own good. I think that live, the songs he did play were a bit faster which gave them that extra bit of urgency. If you have got “18 Till I Die” then you will know the sound I’m talking about, and doubly so if you were lucky enough to pick up the singles from that album with all the demos of songs that didn’t make it to the final cut. Now the real Adams classics like ‘summer of ’69’, ‘waking up the neighbours’ and even the dreaded, you either love it or hate it, ‘everything I do’ are in a completely different league to everything on this album, that may be an unfair sweeping generalisation and maybe if I heard pieces like this in isolation I would feel differently but the main gripe I ...  Read the complete review
