acts dont get the chance to prove themselves on a commercial level that there Garage or American friends do but that is no excuse to bore your fans!! Roots Manuva thankfully stays clear of that. This is a very very good album. The beats are gritty underground and force your neck to jerk back and forth. The lyrics follow the same track with Mr. Manuvas dirty south London accent adding to the atmosphere. Unlike most of todays hip hop there is definately thought put into these ryhmes and for once they dont revolve around hoes, beer and dope(not that there is anything wrong with this things but they can get boring eventually).
