This the third album from the pop divas didn’t seem to fly quite as high up the charts as their debut ’All Saints’(1998) despite containing the theme tune for much hyped Hollywood blockbuster ‘The Beach’. The four enviably gorgeous temptresses who are the All Saints are: Canadian sisters Natalie and Nicole Appleton (Nicole being the one who gave birth to Liam Gallaghers baby this week), Melanie Blatt, and Shaznay Lewis, the latter of whom undertakes the main song-writing role within the group (they’re a bit on the manufactured side to be labelled a band). The legendary pop producer William Orbit (Madonna) has assisted with a ... Read the complete review

The very fact that this album has seen the light of day deserves a round of applause itself. With pregnancy, inter group bickering, "Honest" and high profile relationship break ups you couldn't blame the girls if they called it a day and left for "Pure Shores". In truth though, with the Met Bar cocaine society its hard to imagine a day when the Appleton sisters are out of the limelight, when the band split a QVC presenters slot surely beckons. This is an album that very existence is down to the hard work and determination of Shaznay and Mel, the insignificant others as far as the tabloids are concerned. With the Production talents of Mr ... Read the complete review

Ive always liked All saints style, i bought their last album which was great - and i must say i think this (the follow up) is just as good, maybe even better! There are 14 tracks on the album. "Pure shoars" starts it off (the classic song from "the beach".) Number 2 on the album is "all hooked up". Personally that song is my favourite. All the songs are simular but are each are indivdually different which means that you don't get bored with the album. Some other great songs include - "Black cofee" - as was realeased not to long ago. "Surrender", "one more tequilla" (which is a spanish style ... Read the complete review

The one very negative thing I have to say about this album is that the material of the case is like reinforced card instead of teh old plastic casing. Which means it looks tatty after playing it only a few times. Which annoys me. I bought one with the pink cover that claimed to be a special pack but when recieveing it, I found it to be a normal one. No special digipak after all. If you can make sense of why it says it is when it isn't could you please email me with the answer? Apart from those two things, the two hits 'Pure Shores' and 'Black Coffee' feature, as well as the brand new and probably now last single for the band 'All ... Read the complete review

I wasn't too sure what to expect from Mel, Shaznay, Nicole and Natalie but I am really impressed with this album. They have collaborated with music whiz kid William Orbit to acheive some really great sound effects throughout the album and the production is great with a lot of digital media involved. I admit that it takes a couple of times to get used to the album but now I can't get the songs out of my head-which, is a good thing! The mature voices of Mel and Shaznay have really developed since the last album. Sadly, Nicole doesn't have any solo appearences in the album which is a shame considering the other girls do. 'All Hooked Up' ... Read the complete review
