Products similar to Scar - Lush
Waiting For The Floods - Armoury Show
Enjoyable post-punk and proto-gothic, and other terms I'm clearly making up.
Lacks individuality.
So Red The Rose - Arcadia
Experimental and atmospheric, but retains a pop sensibility.
The softer songs sound rather similar.
New Age Of Earth - Ashra
Retro ambience for Tangerine Dream fans.
Not up to the standards of its competitors, a disappointing change of direction.
Hed Kandi - The Mix 2008
Dance & Electronic - House & Garage - 2007
End Of The Weakness - Archeon
High quality debut replicating the Children of Bodom sound.
Not as good as the obvious influences.
Beyond The Dark - Ancara
Nice atmosphere and high production values.
Far too short, lacking in intensity and overly ballad-based.
Army Of Anyone - Army of Anyone
Reasonable enough modern rock.
Doesn't stand out.
Angels In America - Thomas Newman - Soundtrack
A perfect blend of traditionality with off-beat modernism
Fractured presentation with a couple of disruptive source songs
A Long March - As I Lay Dying
Previously rare material made available.
It's unrefined, unimpressive metalcore.
