Advantages: ???
Disadvantages: It's terrible
I only bought this album because it was £1.50 on a car boot sale and even then I think I was robbed! Every single one of the songs is totally bland, boring and unimaginative. I've heard nursery rhymes with more to recommend them than this rubbish. I used to respect Geri as an entertainer when she was with the Spice Girls, I believe that she was the heart and soul of the group and any interest I had in the Spice Girls left with Geri. However, as time goes on I'm getting more and more sick of her, she seems to have lost all of her personality. This album is a catalogue of snipes and underhanded comments coupled with several songs with lyrics whining about what a bad time she's having. Do I feel sorry for her? Do I heck as like, I wish somebody would just "lift her up" out of earshot so I don't have to listen to this self pitying garbage anymore. The lyrics are so simple that a five year old could have written better, the way that she insists that every line has to rhyme just drives me insane. The woman obviously knows more about nuclear physics than she does about writing songs. This album is utter tripe. I've been racking my brains for something positive to say about it and I really can't find anything at all. It tortured my CD player once and won't be making a second visit. I couldn't, in all honesty, recommend Schizophonic to my worst enemy. In fact, I'm going to give my copy to my 3 year old niece, she likes the Cartoons so she might not be too offended by this album!

- 28/08/01 Recent news states that Victoria Slapem and Geri Howlwell are competing to see who can be the thinnest, personally I think the real competition lies in who can warble worse songs! |

- 02/05/01 lol lol really good op, and some ultra funny commentary's in return. The call about Blobbie Williams literally made me crack up..what a classis, it might be a well known name but we don't hear much about Blobbie in the land down under, pop really isnt in at all. Good op though, I thought her desperate attention grabbing scene at the Bridget Jones premier a joke, took all the attention of the actual stars of the film and the next day papers were splattered with her and heard basically nothing about the movie and stars at the movie premier !! Show stealer ...........miow !! |
