SCHIZOPHONIC is the title of former SPICE GIRL member GERI HALLIWELL's album.
The album consists of ten tracks which I will review.

LOOK AT ME is a fast paced dance number. The vocals aren't great and the lyrics are cheesy although the energy in the music makes up for this.

LIFT ME UP features some nice lyrics with decent vocals. The melodies are fine although it lacks a bit of vigour in the instrumental area.

WALKAWAY is a vigorous tune with great energy powerful vocals. The chorus is excellent and can be sang along with.

MI CHICO LATINO is a good mellow track which is sung well and the chorus is really smooth and has a positive message.

GOODNIGHT KISS has some corny lyrics not helped by the vocals that lack any purpose because of the song's slow nature.

BAG IT UP is a fun fast paced song with bags of energy. The lyrics are poor though made up for by the fun nature of the music.

SOMETIMES starts off slow though gets better at the chorus. The vocals are solid as are the melodies which have an uplifting effect.

My favourite song on the album is LET ME MOVE YOU. Halliwell's vocals are at their best on this track with some good lyrics and beautiful melodies.

SOMEONE'S WATCHING OVER ME is a decent track though felt like album filler.

The last track on the album is YOU'RE IN A BUBBLE which i wasn't keen on because it felt too cheesy and lacked the energy of previous songs.

Overall, this is an album that was okay, but felt like it was trying too hard. The dance songs are fun and full of energy although the slower tracks highlighted the weaknesses in her vocals. The lyrics were borderline corny although the emphasis seemed to be on fun which the album certainly is.

Avalaible from AMAZON at under 50p this is an okay album.
