Advantages: very good album

Disadvantages: nothing

Geri Halliwell, aka Ginger Spice is back alright.

After leaving the Spice Girls, she's done many things including making an album, making her biography, going to Uganda for Comic Relief, being Goodwill Ambassador by the UN, singing "Happy Birthday" to Prince Charles.
There are only ten songs on her album, but, for me, they are very very good.
I wanna give my op on the album track by track, because I'm listening to it and it sounds good...
1. Look At Me - it's one of the best track of the album. I think the lyric is very good.

2. Lift Me Up - Brilliant. A really good song for when you want cheering up, Geri's voice is amazing on this one.

3. Walkaway - Starts with just atmospheric keyboards and Geri's vocals, it's another great pop song.

4. Mi Chico Latino - Obviously latin influenced, this is a cross between Madonna and Ricky Martin! Excellent track. THE BEST!

5. Goodnight Kiss - This is just absolutely first class, a touch of jazz, and blues guitar break. It suits Geri's vocals down to the ground. A vampy song, very very good. I think it's a reminder of her character in the Spice Girls' "Too Much" video.

6. Bag It Up - Disco track. A song that is definitely Spicy for me is "Bag It Up", the Geri's Brits performance from 'Schizophonic'!
'Bag It Up' contains the usual girl power exclamations and exhortations to 'the girls' that Geri clings to against all odds.
"You know what to do now
You're in control
Who's wearing the trousers now?
Treat him like a lady and spit him out
Make him crazy
Take him back then spit him out"

7. Sometime - Church organ and Gospel choir start, then goes into regular acoustic guitar-based pop, until later when it goes all 80's, which spoils it quite a bit.

8. Let Me Love You - absolutely excellent. Really goo
d Lyric and Sound.

9. Someone's Watching Over Me - Very moving slow song. One where you have to listen to the lyrics.

10. You're In A Bubble - Very surprising, this is the kind of track you would have thought Melanie B would have done!

Geri left the Spice Girls to "find out who she was when she wasn't Ginger Spice". Apparently, this album is a melange of her personality.
A brilliant debut solo , if Geri can keep this up, she'll be around for years.
Go Geri, GOOOOO!!
Buy it!
