The school disco phenomenan has been huge. There are school disco nights on at clubs all over the country where people old enough to know better dress up like school kids and sing and dance along badly to bad songs. Ok, mostly bad songs, some are classics and some are those ones you love to hate (or is that hate to love). It's all good fun though, and predictably the album soon followed.. The School disco.com CD features 40 rock and pop 'classics' that are true dancefloor fillers. (Damn those capital letter's which are now numbers....grrrrrr) Everyone who knows me well enough will know that music is very important to me. I have a very wide and varied taste in music stretching from Tracy Chapman and Nirvana to DJ Slipmatt and those banging hardcore house tunes ive written about before. Ive been to SchoolDisco twice this year and i went with various people that I grew up with on our annual get together. We all dress up in school uniforms and spend the night dancing to old classics. Before, I start, people are complaining this is in the wrong category, I know it is, but I was impatient to wait until they sort it. Please bear with me and them. Now I will start. Sometimes it's better to buy a compilation album, as I can get disappointed with one artists songs sometimes. Take for example the brilliant Bohemian like you, Dandy Warhols, this is the only decent song on there. So for a change I thought I would listen to a compilation album with hopefully the best songs choosen for one perticular artist.
