Scum - Napalm Death

Scum is by far the heaviest album in my collection. It's a 28 track collection of ear bashingly heavy songs. The first half of the album had a different line up to the second half and you can notice, but both are still great. The first half was recorded for only £50 but i can't tell with the quality. The songs range in length and speed and this album contains the world's shortest song at 1.316 seconds long! If you want your music fast and heavy with statements through the lyrics, this is for you. Napalm Death are undoubtedly one of Britain's most under-rated bands and are quite well appreciated abroad where genres like metal or grindcore are not so taboo. Plenty of bands have played hard and fast music in the same vein as them but no one in my opinion has done it as well and they are generally given credit for starting the whole racket!
