Seb Fontaine's Saterday night show on Radio 1 is a real must for any fan of dance music. Broadcast between Judge Jules and Westwood (is that how you spell it?!), the show really stands out. The quality of the mixing and DJing is great, but it is the music that makes it really stand out... He plays some of the best house come trance music known to man, including the stuff that some DJs seem to neglect, as it is a bit different. Seb Fontaine is just one DJ that really seems to annoy me! I'll put it simply; he's just not very good. Add to that the fact that he has "sold out" as much as anyone I can probably think of right now. But the thing that bugs me most is his disloyalty to a genre of music, simply "jumping on the bandwagon" to follow the latest trends; basically where ever the big money is. Take the example of last year - summer '99. This was really the year when trance kicked off in a big way - and yes, although all the commercial chart rubbish threatened it from day one - eg.
