Advantages: Great voice and songwriter. Talented

Disadvantages: The songs sound very similar to one another

After winning Fame Academy, David Sneddon won the same year as Will Young and Girls Aloud but the one thing he had was he was a songwriter and very talented not just as a singer but the ability to play many instruments and play live (ahem *Girls aloud* LOL!)

I'll start off by saying i wasn't in any way fantatic about David Sneddon, i dont think of him much as a person but i do see a nice quality in his songs and think he has a cracking voice. Whilst i own every CD single and CD album he produced over the small amount of months he had a music career i am not biased, so my review of this album is quite fair I think.

The album opens with the brilliant Best Of Order, i think it's so crazy and so unexpected and has no structure that it's brilliant and it did make a great single although it was the beginning of the end for his career as it didnt really well at all in the charts. I thought Time To Fall Down wasn't as impressive, it sounded repetitive in short to some of his other songs and there was defining moment, lyric or melody for that matter. Stop Living The Lie is the reason i gave a chance on this album, i love the verses and think it's very meaningfully sang and it's a cracking winners single that the artist wrote themselves, is not a cover and is a brilliant song.

All My Life, i thought was different and i particularly liked the chorus. Follow Me, it think should great versatility from David and goot vocal range. Don't Let Go is another reason i bought this album, i thought it was a great song and the chorus was instantly fantastic. The Blueboard i found quite repetitive again, sounds like most of his other songs. I though Lazy sounded well ahem Lazy i think it's not good enough to be a bside never mind a album track, David obviously was struggling to come up with track and this sounds like one he wrote in 10 minutes. OK was quite different and i say that only because the lyrics are quite random - they make no sense, but it is nice to listen to and melodic.

I thought Without You should have a single and i love the verses in this song. I think Neverland is quite uninspired and boring i'm afraid. Long Time Coming, sounds like a really personal song to David - i think it's really emotional and speaks of his Fame Academy journey well. I Love You is really beautiful and nice but again parts are boring as his songs tend to sound the same alot of the time.

All in all, a good album - most of the songs sound like each other and that's what i don't like. It feels like he run out of ideas and just came up with a same melody with different lyrics. I think about 4 songs less of this album down to about 9 maybe 10 songs and this is a great album.

I think the titles really inspiring of this being a work in progress of Seven Years, and the ten weeks he was in Fame Academy. Definitely talented as a songwriter and a decent singer but sometimes his songs tend to sound the same. I have just got some songs off his new White Noise EP! and i look forward to reviewing that soon.

Summary: Debut album by 2002 Fame Academy winner, David Sneddon
