As far as club / dance music is concerned, it's rare that a particular artist has enough material to fill a whole album (and even rarer that the quality is up to scratch). This way round you get the best of both worlds; a combination of original and mixed material that potentially gives the listener more variety and gives the album wider appeal

If you really want to annoy a music fan, then one of the most effective methods is to tell him / her that all his favourite artist's tracks sound the same. Few other genres suffer from this accusation as much as club music.
