Terrorvision's fourth album Shaving Peaches was something of an odd album. It didn't go down well with long term fans and critics, but saw them score their highest chart single ('Tequila', no. 2) and then get dropped by label EMI! What a lot of people felt is that this album lacks the infectiously fun good-time rock of other Terrorvision albums. Personally, I think this is a rather harsh judgement; in my opinion How To Make Friends And Influence People is indeed a classic album, but no other Terrorvision album comes close to matching that - I don't think Regular Urban Survivors was that good an album either, although it had the odd hit (most ... This is the only Terrorvision I have (until I buy the new one), so I'm sure everyone will think that I'm not really qualified to review it. I would describe Terrorvision as rock music playing poppy tunes, and this is one of the most cheery records in my collection. 111 wishes and Tequila are what first attracted me to this album, and are fun catchy songs to jump around to. Babyface is funny - it has a computerised voice and is the only 'love song' on the album. The original version of Tequila is much better and fuller than the single version. The song that annoys me is Vegas, because I find it so slow and tedious. 'In your shoes' is like a mickey ... Read the complete review

Metal edged pop just the way I like it. No pointless screaming. No depressingly suicidal lyrics or frontman. No dance routines. No good looking people. Just lots of heavily guitar assaulted songs, some of which are deliberately throw-away with stories of Mars and transvestites. Firmly tongue in cheek fun made even the more amusing by a straight delivery. For the most part the songs are finely fueled little bombs with lots of energy, everything being delivered with zest. The standout moments are the very amusing ‘Josephine’, ‘Hypnotized’ - most excellent riff, and the routine bashing strumming of ‘Day aftter Day’. ... Read the complete review

This is great!!! The liner notes are...errm great...they resemble a errmm...fanny! But the songs are super thanks for asking - they are really catchy, and will have you humming for ages. The lyrics are so immaginative, they really make me laugh, this guy has some great immagination - i think he lives on a different planet, but i would love to go there. Buy it now! P.S. AS I'VE SAID BEFORE: Dont buy ROBBIE WILLIAMS MUSIC(what a load of sweaty nut scratch, what is wrong with these people...yes i speak my mind, if you are a robbie fan, please crwal into a corner and die)!!! Invest in something decent like this!!! ... Read the complete review
