Advantages: Brilliant and concise compilation of their best tracks.Revised classics exclusive to this album.

Disadvantages: None that I can think of.

Sho'Nuff is a brilliant 'best of' album by The Black Crowes. It's made up of57 tracks, taken predominantly from the albums; Southern Harmony and Musical Companion, Shake Your Money Maker and Three Snakes and One Charm. But it also features different versions of old classics like 'Sting Me-Slow', which is a totally delicious take on the original. So for those of you that think there isn't much point in getting this album as you already have the original albums, then I would definitely say it is because of little gems like 'Sting Me-Slow' and 'She Talks to Angels-Acoustic version' (the piano intro in this one is really beautiful).

This album is different to their greatest hits album (released in 2000), mainly because it has more material and more diversity. The greatest hits album has 16 tracks and was mainly produced as a tribute to their work over that past decade and also to commemorate them splitting from their American/Columbia. Sho'Nuff is better than this greatest hits album as the greatest hits concentrates tad too much on 'By Your Side' album and there are several of their best tracks missing from it. So for those of you looking for a concise compilation album that does justice to the full achievements of The Black Crowes, then I would definitely recommend this album.

Summary: The definitive collection of Black Crowes classics.
