Shock Value is the latest album to be released in the UK by super producer Timbaland. The album contains a mixture of Hip-Hop and R&B tunes and has a total of 19 tracks. Every Track is individual an there is a lot of creativity on this album and this is down to there being over 20 different artists featured on this album. One of the problems with this is that the album doesn't really flow. However there is a number of great tracks that are on this album as well as a few bits of garbage. Oh Timbaland: This is the opening track and it is a good intriguing track that makes you want to listen to the rest of the album. Give It To ... Read the complete review

TIMBALAND! In my eyes one of the greatest/most talented producers of all time. Every artist he works with brings out his best qualities as he brings out theirs. it is fascinating how a man can have such power over a song and make you listen to it multiple times OVER and OVER again. Track listing: 1. Oh Timbaland - Timbaland 2. Give It To Me - Timbaland & Nelly Furtado/Justin Timberlake 3. Release - Timbaland & Justin Timberlake 4. Way I Are - Timbaland & Keri Hilson/DOE 5. The great thing about this album and Timbaland's albums in general, is that there's a great mix of sounds; it's not an album that you get bored of easily. You have Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, Dr Dre, Missy Elliot, D.O.E, 50 Cent, Sebastien, Attitude, Money, Amar, One republic and even Elton John! The album is seriously one of the best I've ever listened too - it has Indian music, classical, rap and hip-hop. I can not go on enough about the variety of this album. It's definitely Timbaland's best effort so far and as of August 9, 2007, Shock Value has sold 514,300 copies in the U.S. and is at #26 on the charts. My personal ... Read the complete review

I am a huge fan of Timbaland, although more to do with his production skills, rather than his own solo work, although I was a fan of his old albums he used to make with the talented rapper Magoo. They had a real chemistry together and you can compare them to the duo of Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg. So shock value was released in 2007, and is really the first big commercial solo album he has done since he has really taken off and become a world wide producer for many of the biggest artists. This is his second album without Magoo, although he does feature on one of the tracks, which definitely rolls back the years. There are a number of artists that feature ... Read the complete review

...Introduction... Timbaland is otherwise known as Tim Mosley and has a fine reputation for being one of the greatest producers in music. For those of you who don't know his history, he started producing when Missy Elliot heard his mixes and decided to work with him on her material. He also worked with the group Jodeci on their 1995 album The Show, The After-Party, The Hotel. His stock as a music producer was quickly rising when in 1996 he produced Ginuwine's debut album Ginuwine...the Bachelor. The album gained both commercial and critical success. Since then he has worked with a variety of artists and is stock as a producer keeps rising and ... Read the complete review
