This has to be the best of all the Smashing Pumpkins work to date, before Billy lost his hair (or his head outgrew it!!). Siamese Dream is one of the most inspired albums of all time taking you on a journey through the angst-ridden world of a certian Mr Corgan. This is American alternative rock at it's best, the songs that particularly stand out are "spaceboy" which is a pretty quiet one as far as the pumpkins are concerned and the epic "Soma" featuring some amazing guitar work. This is also the album that really put SP on the global map with the hit songs "Today" and "Disarm". OK, the album "Mellon collie and the infinate sadness" was very good but there are songs on it that just pass you over, whereas with "Siamese Dream" I can quite honestly say that every song on it is well written, well mixed and very addictive to listen to. It's just a shame that they let their fame go to their heads because this is undoubtedly one of the best albums ever written and a must for any CD collection!!

Summary:
