Doug Stanhope is an edgy comic from Massacheusetts who has a number of DVDs on the market. One of which I have already reviewed previously. He is very controversial and is no stranger to chasing controversy and frequently offends his patrons. I saw him live in Manchester a few months ago and he was hilarious, although I can't remeber most of what he said as I was just in awe of being in the same room, giggling away to myself. To give you a taste of what he's like, here's the first joke from the show... 'I blew a speaker in my car today... yeah... he was a motivational speaker.
