Few will dispute that Limp Bizkit are a bloody daft band, but they did actually have one album that found considerable critical acclaim, before their long and harsh fall following it. This is that album, their second, released after the mildly successful 3 Dollar Bill Y'all. They have recieved divisive criticism for melding the rock and rap ... Read the complete review

"Significant Other" ame out in 1999 as the second album from the Nu-Metal band, Limp Bizkit. Of all the acts in this sub-genre, these take the Hip Hop side of it to the max as pretty much all the lyrics are rapped by Fred Durst and they implement DJing techniques such as scratching and transforming throughout their material. ... 'Significant Other' is the second studio album from Floridian Nu-Metallers Limp Bizkit and was released back in 1999. Containing hit singles such as 'Break Stuff', and 'Nookie', 'Significant Other' I feel is to date the best album in the Limp Bizkit back catalogue (although some will perhaps fairly argue that this is no great difficulty). Limp Bizkit first appeared on the music scene with there debut album, "Three Dollar Bills Yall", the so called darkhorse of the bill board 100 chart in the US, remaining in the chart for many weeks with heavy radio airtime for there cover of George Michael's "Faith". This is quite easily the best album Limp Bizkit have ever made, I mean how can a band sell 4 million albums while all around them people in the industry refused to give them the time of day. They received no airplay from the radio stations, and no one wanted them on their TV shows to promote the album. In saying this you have to admire the guts of ... Read the complete review

I bought this album about a month after it came out in 1999 and professed its brilliance to everyone I knew; playing it at parties, putting it on in people's cars, and forcing my walkman onto the ears of anyone who came my way. But what was the reaction of my friends and aquaintances to these kind actions of mine? People dismissed them as ... Read the complete review

I know that a lot of people don’t rate this CD or indeed this band very highly. Well if we were all the same the world would be a very boring place. I bought this CD in March and it has become almost indispensable. No, don’t laugh and find it incredulous. LB may not be the most eloquent of bands and some people may think it just a ... Question time Bizkit people, Fred Durst did it all for: (a) The nookie (b) The money (c) The fame (d) The music If you answered (a) then you've either already got the album or, like the rest of us, have heard this awful song on MTV at some point. Oh, which also means you've probably seen the "Look at me! I'm ... Read the complete review

If you've read my review on LB's "3 dollar bill, y'all$", you know that I love that cd beyond all words. Every track seemed flawless. I adore it with all my heart. I first found LB when they were unknown, and I loved the feeling of finding a GOOD unknown band. So, when Mtv finally picked up on them and pushed (and I mean ... Read the complete review

I am a fan of music, my tastes ranging from punk to rock to alternative. I'm sure that this cd is already at least quadruple-platinumum, basically fueled by MTV's Total Request Live, in which the Limp's songs have gotten heavy playtime. Now to look past the hype, and to review the CD. Intro (track one) was a ... Read the complete review

I did it all for the Nookie! Ya boo, another smash hit record for these guys, makes you mad doesn't it. I think the band have achieved a lot over the last few years and this is the record that really started the tide turning. They've managed to bring hip-hop/nu-metal to the mainstream and hopefully convert a generation ... Read the complete review

In my opinion Limp Bizkit are probably one of the best bands around (except for Four Star Mary but I doubt any of you have heard of them). This album, out of the 3 they have released is probably their best one. Definitly better than 3 Dollar Bill Y'all and at least as good as Chocolate StarFish and Hot Dog Flavoured Water. This is there 2nd ... Read the complete review

An amazing 6 million copies of this C.D have been sold around the world. Limp Bizkit's second album was greeted with such hysteria that they have since been dubbed the biggest Rock band in the world. This album is fantastic 100% rock. It has all the songs Limp Bizkit haven't released here but you hear on MTV. It's completely different from Choclate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavoured Water.
