Advantages: Great Collection Of Smiths Singles
Disadvantages: None
Smiths Single is a collection of the Singles that The Smiths released in there time together. Don't think that this is a greatest hits album. This album only came about as The Smith used to be in the habit of releasing some songs that are not on any of their "official albums" When buying Smiths albums is can be confusing as their are so many that share tracks. There only 4 albums recorded by The Smiths, but their record company released a lot of compilmation albums. My advice is to buy the "official" 4 albums the Smiths released - The Smiths Meat Is Murder The Queen Is Dead and, Strangeways here we come. And buy this album as it will cover the singles not on the 4 albums. If you just want a greatest hits album, than buy The Smiths, The Best Of Volume1 and Volume2. The Track listing for The Smiths - Singles is: 1. Hand In Glove 2. This Charming Man 3. What Difference Does It Make? 4. Heaven Knows I Am Misreble Now 5. William, It Was Really Nothing 6. How Soon Is Now? 7. Shakespeare's Sister 8. That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore 9. The Boy With The Thorn In His Side 10. Bigmouth Strikes Again 11. Panic 12. Ask 13. Shoplifters Of The World Unite 14. Shelia Take A Bow 15. Girlfriend In A Coma 16. I Started Something I Couldn't Finsh 17. Last Night I Dreamt Someone Loved Me. 18. There Is A Light That Never Goes Out

- 16/02/01 "Loader than bombs" is better than the "world won't listen" in my opinion. |

- 02/02/01 I absolutely adore this record in every sense of the word, its got all the
stuff that doesn't make me want to vomit('Shakespeare 9;s Sister' aside).
However, you forgot to mention the best Smiths compilation LP 'the World won't Listen'. |
