Advantages: LeAnn has such a great powerful voice
Disadvantages: None at all
This album really takes my back as it's the first LeAnn Rimes album I ever bought & now I would call her one of my favourite artists of all time.
I first heard the song "How Do I Live" which just blew me away & loved the girls voice on it which I later found out turned out to be LeAnn Rimes. I therefore decided to buy this album which it came from, cause I just wanted to hear more from her & this album defiently didn't disappoint.
The slow ballads are what LeAnn does best and her voice is suited so well to these. There are many great examples of this featured on this CD including "Looking Through Your Eyes" & "Surrender". One of my favourite tracks on this album is the more mid-tempo title track, also "Commitment" and "Nothin' New Under The Moon" are great tracks of a similar tempo.
Although LeAnn is known for her country roats, I wouls say this album is more pop than country making her more commercially accessible.
I loved what I heard on this album so much that I decided to go out & buy her entire back catalogue of albums & believe me even though she was quite young when she released this, there are quite a few as she release her first one when she was only 15. Ever since, I have bought ever CD she has released & they are all superb.
In my opinion, LeAnn is a superb album and in my opinion still very underrated here in the UK. This album is a great exmaple of her superb musical ability.
Summary: One of my favourtie artists of all time & this album is a perfect example of her superb ability
