      Disadvantages

Not as good as Mad Locust Rising or Unstoppable Force

Skeptics Apocalypse which was released in 1985 was Agent Steel's debut album where we were introduced to tracks like the self-titled Agents of Steel, basically a fast speed thrash sound and screams of the catchy chorus "Agents of Steel, masters of metal" and listening to the rest of this album, you'd struggle to disagree.

The poodled hair space warriors pull out track after track of dark sounding speed metal and whilst the lyrics aren't always easy to catch amidst the average recording of the first album, echos and the some times over the top screams of John Cyriis. Whilst the album rarely touches much in the way of space subjects (except perhaps Children of the Sun), I get a strangey spacey feeling coming out of this album, not that I really know the sound of a spaceship but I'm sure I hear one on "144,000 Gone" though I may well have just been influenced heavily by the cover!

This is a quality debut album but it's not as good as Unstoppable Force which is better produced.
