Eminem is so controversial that even the clean version of his album has a parental advisory sticker. The Slim Shady LP is brilliant, its production is first class and Eminem entertains us on every one of the 20 tracks on this album. `HI, my name is!` may gradually become irritating but it is one of the weakest tracks on this album. The high points are `Guilty Conscience`, Eminem and Dr Dre give advice to people in difficult situations, `97 Bonnie and Clyde`, compare this track to the Will Smith track `Just The Two Of Us`, and `Still Don't Give`. `Role Model` and `My Fault` show us Eminem at his frightening best. This album is excellent, the fact that it is edited does not take away from its masterpiece status.
