Slip Of The Tongue - Whitesnake

The follow up to the hit self titled record saw both a slight change in band line up and I suppose a slight change in style, although Slip of the Tongue is thankfully still quite a heavy album. Taking from where they left off, the band re-record another hit to great effect, this time Fool For You Loving from their Ready An' Willing record receives the treatment. Whilst such a reworking was seen as sacrilege by some fans, I enjoyed the heavy, more guitar driven modern version which really added a sophistication to proceedings.
