Having formed back in 1984, The Offspring have been very much at the fore of the commercial punk rock scene for many a year now. Quite blatantly one of the best records of the 90's. Every song is bursting with energy and anger. I never liked American bands until I heard this record, a friend lent it to me about 4 years ago and I was completely blown away. I was about 15 and everyone was listening to Oasis/Blur at the time and this was such a welcome shock to hear a record with such energy AND with pretty decent lyrics too. This is the best album that the offspring have made to date which is a high honour considering the success of Americana and the highly acclaimed Ignition. My favourite track on this album is Genocide and overall most of the songs are really great and totally NOT pop songs like a couple of tracks on Americana. Dexter Holland has said that the offsprings next album will be more like this and I gnition than Americana so I can't wait for that!! ....This is the Offspring boys best work it will give you a Bad Habit to keep on listening and listening. Being a massive Offspring fan for ages and this definitely for me has been there best album because of the brilliant tracks such as Bad Habit, Self Esteem and Smash, by no means are these the only good tracks far from it as all of them posses a unique quality about them especially What happened to you as it is different to the other songs on the album.
